Exciting Opportunity - Visit Northumberland is looking for a Head of Marketing and Partnerships to join the team.

Last night (Weds 7th June), three Northumberland businesses championed the region, securing two golds and one silver at the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2023 ceremony.

Newcastle Gateshead Initiative is providing free training opportunities for businesses across the region, and those in tourism and hospitality roles to make the North East an accessible and inclusive destination.

The North East was recently announced as the first ever Destination Development Partnership, receiving £2.25 million from national government covering a period to March 2025.

Following their recent success at the North East England Tourism Awards three Northumberland businesses have been shortlisted for the national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2023.

Northumberland stole the show at the annual awards, achieving gold in an amazing nine of the available categories, including returning category Business Events Venue of the Year which was won by The Sill: National Landscape and Discovery Museum.
