Northumberland’s thriving visitor economy to take centre stage during national tourism celebration.

Two idyllic Northumbrian escapes are among the first businesses in the area to earn a globally recognised sustainability mark as part of a special project from Destination North East England.

A £4.5 million grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund has been awarded to English Heritage on behalf of the Berwick Barracks Partnership, representing a significant milestone in this long-term project.
