Visit Northumberland calls out to Alnwick businesses ahead of the launch of its new, North of Tyne Combined Authority-funded programme, ‘Step into Alnwick’, to support and promote Alnwick town businesses this winter.

The 2024 North East England Tourism Awards (NEETA) will be held on Thursday, February 29th 2024.

Tourism businesses from the North East gathered this week to celebrate Purple Tuesday, recognising the importance of creating accessible experiences for visitors and residents.

The North of Tyne Combined Authority-funded project 55-56° North, created in partnership with NewcastleGateshead Initiative and Visit Northumberland, is promoting the region’s fantastic programme of events for the second year running.

Communities impacted by flooding will benefit from thousands of pounds of Government funding to help them recover from the impact of Storm Babet.
