Destination North East England Industry Update - Virtual webinar

Find out about the latest progress on the North East's regional tourism pilot and the opportunities for business to get involved. In our first update of 2024, we'll be delving into a core pillar of the DDP pilot, Regenerative Tourism, focussing on sustainability, accessibility and inclusion. Our guest speakers will discuss Newcastle and Durham's progress through the Global Destination Sustainability Index and the action plan to improve both city's scores, as well as discussing details of the GDS pilot in Northumberland - a first for GDS Movement, as they work with us to develop a framework for assessing larger county regions as opposed to individual cities and towns.
The industry update is a fantastic opportunity for businesses and stakeholders to discover how they can be at the forefront of the DDP's work and improve their accessibility, inclusivity and sustainability.
