Industry Update: Destination Development Partnership

The partnership is be led by NGI on behalf of the region, working alongside Visit Northumberland and Visit County Durham. This is a regional collaboration and incredible opportunity to unlock our growth and the untapped potential in the North East of England, attracting more visitors, creating new experiences, targeting new markets as well as creating jobs and opportunity.

On Thursday 11th May, NGI hosted a virtual update on the Destination Development Partnership (DDP) to share the progress being made so far. As leading Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP) for the DDP, they informed businesses about how they can get involved in the pilot which seeks to double the value of the regional visitor economy in the next 10 years.
