The North East was recently announced as the first ever Destination Development Partnership, receiving £2.25 million from national government covering a period to March 2025.

Northumberland stole the show at the annual awards, achieving gold in an amazing nine of the available categories, including returning category Business Events Venue of the Year which was won by The Sill: National Landscape and Discovery Museum.
